Terms and Conditions
The conditions that govern booking, payment, changes and cancellations for Inari Wonderful Experience tours and experiences in Cusco.
Last updated: October 14, 2026
01
General information
These terms and conditions govern the purchase of the tourism services offered by INARI WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE TRAVELS AND TOURS S.A.C. ("INARI"), tax ID (RUC) 20614018951, with registered address at Construcción Civil E-2, Cusco, Peru, through the website inariwonderfulexperience.com, WhatsApp, email or any other service channel.
By making a booking, the traveler confirms that they have read and accepted these terms, as well as the specific conditions of each service shown in its description and in the booking confirmation.
02
Bookings and payments
To confirm a booking, the traveler must pay a deposit of 50% of the total price of the service. The remaining balance must be paid no later than seven calendar days before the start date of the service.
For bookings made less than seven days in advance, payment of 100% of the price may be required to confirm availability and secure the services.
Some services require tickets, train seats and other products with limited availability to be purchased in advance. Machu Picchu entrance tickets in particular can sell out months ahead, especially in high season. We therefore recommend booking as early as possible, ideally 3 to 6 months before your visit. These bookings depend on availability at the time of purchase, and some services may require confirmation and payment up to six months before the trip, depending on demand.
Last-minute requests are subject to availability. INARI recommends planning your trip in advance and checking availability before making payments or confirming services that depend on specific tickets.
A booking is considered confirmed once the corresponding payment has been received and INARI has sent the confirmation.
03
Entrance tickets and train tickets
Machu Picchu entrance tickets and train tickets are issued with the details provided by the traveler and are subject to the conditions of their respective providers.
Once issued, Machu Picchu entrance tickets cannot be refunded, transferred or rescheduled. Train tickets may allow changes or cancellations according to the conditions and penalties of each railway operator.
If a booking that includes these products is cancelled, INARI will inform the traveler of the amounts for non-refundable services, the applicable penalties and any balance that may be refunded.
The specific conditions of each booking will be communicated to the traveler before the purchase is confirmed.
04
Date changes and modifications
Travelers may request date changes or modifications to the booked service by contacting INARI at least seven calendar days in advance, always subject to availability.
Requests made less than seven days in advance may be reviewed according to the circumstances of each booking, with no guarantee of acceptance.
Changes that result in fare differences, penalties, third-party administrative fees or new purchase costs will be paid by the traveler, who will be informed of the amounts beforehand. Tickets, train tickets and other services issued under restrictive conditions may not allow changes or may carry additional charges.
INARI will confirm any approved change in writing.
05
Cancellations by the traveler
Travelers may cancel their booking by notifying INARI in writing at info@inariwonderfulexperience.com or on WhatsApp at +51 951 795 967.
The refundable amount will depend on how far in advance the cancellation is notified and on the costs already incurred by INARI to provide the service. The following will be deducted from the amount paid:- tickets, train tickets and services already issued that are non-refundable;
- penalties charged by providers (railway operators, hotels, transport companies or others);
- administrative and third-party costs actually incurred.
As an alternative to a refund, INARI may offer to reschedule the service or issue a credit for a future service, subject to availability.
The cancellation conditions for each booking will be communicated in writing before it is confirmed. Failure to show up at the agreed date and time without prior notice does not entitle the traveler to a refund.
06
Cancellations by INARI and weather
INARI may modify or cancel an activity when circumstances compromise the safety of travelers or prevent the service from being provided, such as adverse weather, natural disasters, road closures, restrictions imposed by the authorities or other events beyond its control.
Whenever it is possible and safe, INARI will offer to reschedule or provide an equivalent alternative, in coordination with the traveler. If the service cannot be provided and no alternative can be agreed, a refund of the services not provided will be assessed, taking into account the conditions of each component of the booking and the applicable law.
If INARI cancels a service for reasons attributable to the company, it will inform the traveler of the available alternatives and the corresponding refund.
Specific rescheduling or refund conditions for particular activities, such as the hot air balloon ride, are detailed in the description of each service.
07
Payment methods and fees
INARI offers several payment methods for your convenience:- Bank transfers and deposits: may be subject to fees charged by the bank.
- Yape and Plin: no additional charges from INARI.
- Credit or debit cards via payment link: the published price is the final amount, with no additional fees from INARI.
- Western Union: the published price is the price of the service. Any fee charged by the provider or intermediary will be communicated in advance, where applicable.
- PayPal: a 4% surcharge is added to the published price to cover processing costs. For example, a US$100 tour paid via PayPal will total US$104.
08
Refund procedure and timing
When a refund applies, INARI will inform the traveler of the approved amount and the procedure to follow.
Unless the circumstances of the case or the applicable law require a different timeframe, INARI will process the refund within ten business days of confirming the refundable amount and receiving the information needed to process it.
Refunds will be made, whenever possible, using the same payment method used for the booking. If this is not possible, an alternative method will be agreed with the traveler. The time it takes for the funds to appear in the traveler's account depends on the bank or payment platform.
Amounts that are non-refundable under the conditions previously communicated, the restrictions of providers and the applicable law will not be refunded.
09
Traveler requirements, documents and health
Personal documents. All travelers must provide accurate personal information when booking and carry a valid, physical ID document during excursions. Foreign travelers must carry their original passport or foreign resident card; Peruvian travelers, their DNI. For activities with named tickets, such as the visit to Machu Picchu, travelers must present the original document matching the details registered on the ticket. Travelers are responsible for checking that their documents are valid and match their booking details.
Age and minors. Participation conditions for children and teenagers depend on the activity booked. Minors must take part under the responsibility and supervision of a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult. Some activities may set minimum ages or other restrictions, which will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.
Health and fitness. Before booking an activity, travelers must report any circumstance that may affect their safety or their ability to take part. Excursions in Cusco and the Sacred Valley take place at high altitude, so proper acclimatization, hydration and rest are recommended, as is consulting a health professional if in doubt. INARI may recommend an alternative or limit participation in an activity when there are reasonable safety grounds.
Travel insurance. We recommend taking out travel insurance covering medical assistance, accidents, evacuation and, where relevant, adventure activities and high-altitude conditions. Unless stated otherwise, insurance is not included in the price of the services.
Traveler responsibility. Travelers must follow the guide's instructions and INARI's safety guidance. The specific requirements of each activity are shown in the description of each service.
